Welcome to Communication & Reasoning
"We develop clear thinkers, confident communicators, and the ability to reason, articulate ideas, and engage with different perspectives"
Beyond meeting the communication and critical-thinking expectations of the Canadian English Language Arts curriculum, Grade 6–12 students develop the ability to think critically, reason effectively, and communicate ideas with clarity and confidence. Through structured live classes, guided discussions, argument development, speaking activities, debates, and presentations, students learn to organize their thinking, support ideas with evidence, evaluate different perspectives, and respond thoughtfully to complex questions. Over 10 weeks, students strengthen the reasoning and communication skills needed to express themselves clearly, defend their ideas effectively, and participate confidently in academic and real-world discussions.

Questions? - We Have The Answers

How is Communication & Reasoning structured?
Communication & Reasoning is a 10-week, level-based program for Grades 6–12, offered each semester in both group and private formats. Students attend two live classes per week, with activities, topics, and communication expectations becoming progressively more advanced at each grade level.
What do students learn in Communication & Reasoning?
Students learn how to develop ideas, build logical arguments, support positions with evidence, evaluate different perspectives, participate in discussions and debates, and present ideas effectively. The program combines critical thinking with practical communication so students learn not only what to say, but how to think through and communicate their ideas with purpose.
How do Communication & Reasoning skills transfer beyond this program?
The skills developed are highly transferable. Students use reasoning and communication across English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, presentations, class discussions, written responses, and collaborative work. Beyond school, they develop the ability to think independently, explain their reasoning, listen critically, respond thoughtfully, and communicate confidently in real-world situations.
Every student can become a clearer thinker and more confident communicator through strong reasoning, purposeful discussion, and meaningful practice. Contact us to discover how Communication & Reasoning can transform the way you think, express ideas, and engage with others.
